This week my class did things about Matariki we had to write down our answers and then when we were finished we had to glue it onto a piece of paper this is how it turned out.

My Term 2, 2020 Reflection The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is our little notebook, it really helps me out with my learning and I have it down so I can tick it off when I am done so I know what my next thing is.   Something that has challenged me this term has been my maths because I'm not that good at it but I have put that as my challenge to learn.  The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was math mystery because I get to work with people I don't normally work with and it is fun to do. The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was PE because running around and playing games with people I normally would not play with is fun.  An aim I have for my learning is to learn more maths. I dont think I'm that good at maths but I want to think I am good so that is my challenge. 

This week I did the whetu blog challenge it was fun to learn a new thing to do. I did the classroom instead of my bedroom I watch the video and it really helped me out on this project.

This week I did some things about Matariki I learned a lot about Matariki.

This afternoon my class did a paper plane contest it was really hard and challenging I really liked doing it. We did it last year when the year 7 group were in the year 6 group.

This is my synthesis egg's we had to do it about cheetahs is was a bit challenging but yesterday I was at a teacher-parent meeting and I believed in my self to try and not give up. I am very proud of my self for not giving up.

Today my class has to do a blog challenge about what will happen in 10 years time.

So this week I did the egg challenge it was about dinosaurs it was fun.

This week I did the blog challenge that describes one of your animals so I did my chihuahua that passed away it took me a lot of courage to do this

The things I used to make my  catapult was sticks and 8 rubber bands to hold our catapult with so it would not brake To make the catapult I worked with Sophia she was a great help with the making of our catapult I would work with her again she didn't distract me well we were making it. The most challenging part was tieing the rubber bands around the sticks because we were not allowed to use the hot glue gun that was a bit challenging. Our best results were that it flew far and high I and Sophia did not fight over who did what we just made a good team and did it. Over all I think that it turned out really good it worked really good and it flew the pompom far and high.

this week I had to do a onamatapaia worksheet it was so fun to do but a little hard but I got there.

I did the math challenge with Madison the first time we did it we think we got it wrong so we want to change it because we read through it again  but this challenge

This week I did the emoji blog challenge, I tried to make an emoji that has never been made before it was really hard to think about what to make I tried to make a light bulb but it turned out to look like the babby from the Simsons family.  

My Milk Bottle Creation The milk bottle creation I made was a dog because I love dogs and they're so loving. The hardest part was cutting out the disinge because cutting a milk bottle isn't the easiest thing to do The easiest part was hot gluing on the tail because the tail is one of the easiest things to do and the tail was also the holder I made it for my mum. I enjoyed painting because painting is so fun and I enjoy painting

Week 1 Reflection What has been my highlight this week being able to get out of the house because it has been so long since I have been out and seen my friends. What was I nervous about this week coming to school because I thought it would be way different and I didn't want yo forget anything. For dress up day I dressed up as a gymnast because I like doing gymnastics and I thought it would be fun to wear my leotard The funniest thing that has happened this week is seeing everybody in there cool, wacky and different costume because there are not a lot of people in the same costume. I think the best dressed person was Jolie because I really think she put a lot of effort into her costume.

This week I did Art for chapter challenge I drew a photo of Fudge and I think it turned out good I tried my best to do all the detail I could find.

For this weeks chapter challenge, I did Research I Research about the Kitekite falls there was a lot of interesting things I learnt along the way of doing this and now I think that the Kitekite falls would be a good place to go to. I would go there but I would have to ask my parents.

This is my chapter challenge for this week I did the tug boat I did some facts with it. 

This week I did the catapult with Emily and Jasmine The hardest part was sitcking the sticks on. The easiest part was doing the sign.  I had a lot of fun working with them. Making the catapult is not that hard.

27.02.2020 This week I did away with words.  I wrote a letter to the kids from Ma. I had a lot of fun doing this but now I will tell you how to make a letter look old. To make the letter look old I used some tea bags and scrunched the paper up for a little bit I put the tea bags in cold water and let them sit for a while then I lightly dab the tea bag on my scrunched up paper to make it look old and it looks pretty old. I used brown tea. The thing that was easy was scrunching the paper and making it look old. The thing that was challenging was thinking of what to write.

Over the last week, I have been working on my visual pepeha. It was hard but fun to do. I am proud that I finished my star and it looks good it took a lot of work but I did it. What I found challenging was to wright my pepeha on the star because I had a lot of things on there and I have a big family. I worked with to create my whanau star. I worked with my mum Suzanne to help me with my star. I had my two big brothers on my star.

                                                      First Blog Post      Something that I was nervous about when starting the new year at school Having new kids in my class and a new teacher. Something that has surprised me this week was being able to get wet without going into the swimming pool. The activity I have enjoyed the most this week is making my avatar with Mrs. Loft. A goal I have for myself this year is to be the best person I can and do what I am told. What I am most looking forward to this year is to be able to swim in the ngatea pools and to see my teachers every day. Someone who has helped me so far is Ihi I did not know how to edit my blog.
